Honey BBQ Wings
Indulge in the perfect combination of sweet and tangy flavors with these honey BBQ chicken wings. This easy recipe incorporates the rich taste of butter, resulting in finger-licking deliciousness that's perfect for any occasion.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken Wings:
2 lb chicken wings
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp of olive oil
Honey BBQ Sauce:
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp cannabutter
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with some cannabis infused olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Place a wire rack on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on the wire rack, ensuring they are spaced apart evenly and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through.
In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, cannabutter, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and (optional) smoked paprika.
Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cannabutter is melted and the sauce is well combined. Season with salt to taste.
Once the chicken wings are cooked and crispy, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a moment before adding the wings to a large mixing bowl and pouring the prepared honey BBQ sauce over them. Gently toss the wings in the sauce until they are well coated.
Transfer the saucy honey BBQ chicken wings to a serving platter and garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives for a pop of colour.
