Simple Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup of vinegar of choice (white, red, etc.)

  • 3/4 cup of J & Jay's olive oil

  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • Ground black pepper and (kosher) salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl add vinegar, Dijon mustard, and garlic.

  2. Add a dash of salt and ground black pepper to the mix.

  3. Slowly add in the J & Jay's olive oil while mixing together the ingredients until the uniformly mixed.

  4. Use immediately or store in fridge (shake/mix before using).

TIPS

  • Approximately 1 1/2 tbsp of vinaigratte for each serving of salad

  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days in a sealed container

  • Substitute regular olive oil depending on desired dosage

  • Add a tbsp of syrup or honey to balance in sweetness or a tbsp of lemon juice to add in citrus flavour
