Caramel Drizzle

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup cannabutter

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the cannabutter over medium heat, before adding the sugar and stirring until the dissolved.

  2. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle boil. Continue stirring consistently to prevent burning until it reaches a rich amber color.

  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and stir in the vanilla extract and continue to cook and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes until the caramel thickens.

  4. Add sea salt to taste, balancing the sweetness with a touch of saltiness.

  5. Remove the caramel from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before pouring the caramel into a heatproof jar or container and let it cool to room temperature.

  6. Your Caramel Sauce is now ready to drizzle onto any treats to add a sweet touch.
