INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup cannabutter, cubed
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup buttermilk
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
Pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix in the minced garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, and the pinch of salt.
Add 3/4 cup of cubed cannabutter to the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter incorporate the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gently fold in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Add 1/4 cup of cubed cannabutter and add it to the mixture.
Pour in the buttermilk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the dough should be slightly sticky.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and use a round biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
Allow to cool and serve while warm.
