Chocolate Chip Muffins
The delightful combination of moist muffin perfection and the rich, decadent joy of chocolate chips in these irresistible chocolate chip muffins.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cannabutter, melted
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted cannabutter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently fold the mixture together until just combined, Slowly add and fold in the chocolate chips throughout the batter.
Using a spoon or scoop, fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out cleanly or with few crumbs.
Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, remove from the tin and serve!
Tips
Mix in sliced or diced bananas for the perfect combination
Add finishing touches of dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of melted chocolate for added flavour
