Chocolate Chip Cookies
Experience sweet nostalgia with these classic chocolate chip cookies, where buttery perfection meets gooey, melty chocolate in every bite.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup cannabutter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened cannabutter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, before gently folding in the chocolate chips throughout the cookie dough.
Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each for the cookies to spread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don't overbake.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, store in a cookie jar or serve and and enjoy!
