Barbecue (BBQ) Sauce

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup of J & Jay’s Cannabuter
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes (about 1¾ cups)
1/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt the J & Jay’s cannabutter in a saucepan over medium heat, add onions and cook until caramelized/tender.
Add garlic, chili powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Saute the mix for an additional minute.
Stir in tomatoes, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often.
Pour the mix into a food processor and run until uniform and smooth.
Serve the BBQ sauce with your favourite meals.
TIPS
Add more infused cannabuter or substitute regular butter depending on desired dosages.
Can store in a refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in a sealed container.
