Pizza Dough
Master homemade pizza with our perfected dough recipe, ensuring a flavorful crust elevated by any range of pizza toppings.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 1/3 cups AP flour or bread flour
• 1 packet of instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
• 1 1/2 tsp sugar
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
• Dried basil leaves (optional)
• 2 tbsp of cannabis-infused olive oil
• 3/4 cup of water
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt before stirring in the cannabis-infused olive oil and 3/4 cup water.
Add another 1 1/3 cup of flour, stirring until an elastic ball forms and begins to pull to the sides of the bowl, adding more flour as needed.
With hands coated in flour, form the dough into a round ball and transfer into a olive-oil coated bowl. Roll the dough to coat in oil.
Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and place in a warm place, allowing the dough to rise for 30 minutes (or until it doubled in size).
Once risen, use your hands to gently deflate it and transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth.
Use either your hands or a rolling pin to work the dough into a 12" circle and pinch the edges or fold them in to form the crust.
Drizzle additional olive oil (~1 tbsp) over the top of the pizza and brush to coat the entire surface and crust. Poke holes over the center of the pizza to keep the dough from bubbling up.
Add the desired toppings and bake in a 425°F (215°C) preheated oven for 13-15 minutes or until the toppings are crisp or crust is golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice and serve your pizza.
TIPS
• Substitute regular olive oil based on desired dosages
• Consider substituting a portion of semolina flour for added depth in flavor.
