Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks
A perfect blend of gooey cheese, fragrant garlic, and pillowy soft dough, cheesy garlic breakstics guaranteed to elevate any meal or snack time!
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
• 1 1/2 cups warm water
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp active dry yeast
• 4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup cannabutter, melted
Cheesy Topping:
• 1/2 cup cannabutter, melted
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
• Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and cannabutter. Mix until the dough comes together. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic before placing the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
After rising, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to desired thickness. Cut the dough into strips to form breadsticks.
In a small bowl, mix together cannabutter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
Brush each breadstick with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet and and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Once out of the oven, let the breadsticks cool a bit before serving.
TIPS
• Serve with marinara sauce or as a side to a main dish
• For an added spice, add chili flakes to the cheese
