Alfredo Sauce

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of J & Jay's Cannabutter
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 clove of garlic, minced
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups Parmesan Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the J & Jay's cannabutter and cream to a large nonstick sauce pan over medium-low heat and whisk until butter has melted.
Add in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Kosher salt, and pepper then whisk until combined and smooth.
Bring the pan to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, whisking constantly, until it starts to thicken.
Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth.
Take the pan off the heat. If the sauce isn't thick enough then allow to stand for 2-3 minutes.
Toss with preferred pasta and serve.
TIPS
Add more cannabutter or substitute regular butter based on desired dosage
Use fresh Parmesan as pre-shredded Parmesan won’t melt properly and will make the sauce grainy.
Don’t overheat and do not allow the sauce to boil. If the heat is too high it will cause the sauce to separate and become clumpy.
Best served fresh, be sure to prep pasta ahead of time if serving with pasta
